Staying here was amazing with the hotel just a short walk from both Weerribben-Wieden National Park and the quaint charm of the canals, making it perfect for leisurely strolls and nature exploration. plus, I loved renting a bike from the hotel, which allowed me to discover even more of the beautiful area around me at my own pace.

Check-in is only via machine, and if you think showing up early will help, think again—there’s zero luggage storage, so you might find yourself hauling your bags to a restaurant 15 minutes away. The noise from thin walls can be a nuisance, making it hard to catch any sleep, as you can easily hear doors slamming and footsteps from neighboring rooms. Dust levels in the Budget Single Room were concerning, particularly on the bedding, despite the overall cleanliness of the room. After a confusing arrival—our room lacked a number on the door—we faced an unsecured door that wouldn’t lock, leaving us feeling uneasy in a parking lot room. The response to our concerns was lackluster, with no follow-up or solutions offered once we were settled in.
